On Wednesday, April 28, 2010, Ms. Durrett and Ms. Simpson’s classes will be taking a Factory Field Trip. We will start the day off at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then head to Birmingham to tour Hoover’s Krispy Kreme. After leaving Krispy Kreme, we will head to Chick-fil-A for lunch. The final stop on our trip will be at the Golden Flake factory in Birmingham.

As a result of regulations on groups at Golden Flake, parents will not be able to come along. Other first grade classes that have taken this trip this year had positive results with parents coming to join their children for breakfast at Cracker Barrel so that they could still be a part of the trip!

The cost of the trip is $16.00. Please sign and return the bottom portion of the permission form with your money no later than Wednesday, April 14, 2010.
